Mixlab

A Pet Pharmacy Specializing in Custom Veterinary Medications.

Mixlab is the first modern pet pharmacy that focuses on creating custom medications and delightful experiences for pets, their parents, and their veterinarians. Mixlab had just gone through a re-brand and needed help refining and implementing their new look.

Craft & Root greatly expanded their library of assets, designed print collateral, and numerous social campaigns for holidays, events, and product launches for two very different audiences: pet parents and veterinarians.

To effectively engage their audience, Mixlab required the creation of various marketing and promotional materials. We crafted visually striking social media posts by incorporating fun and engaging animations and illustrations, adding a dynamic element to their presentations.

Mixlab's content often contained dense and complex information that needed to be both informative and accessible. To address this, I developed a strategy focused on translating this text-heavy content into visually engaging formats. I ensured that the material was not only easy to understand but also visually appealing. This approach significantly enhanced Mixlab's communication efforts and created a strong connection with their audience.

Building an extensive library of illustrations throughout my journey with Mixlab was a standout moment in our collaboration. I introduced variations where I felt they would enhance the design content, providing me with an opportunity to delve into their brand's aesthetic and craft images that were both consistent with their identity and innovative. Applying these illustrations to projects like seasonal merchandise for Mixlab was equally fulfilling, as it ensured each piece remained on-brand and appealed to their customers.
